A 23-year-old from Southampton received a jail term of 27 weeks, deferred for one year, after pleading guilty to reckless operation of a vehicle.
In addition, the judge issued a 12-month driving ban and ordered unpaid work along with a rehabilitation program.

As stated by authorities, the video was captured at an unauthorized car meet in Portsmouth on 28 December 2024, featuring the individual driving a distinctive colored vehicle.

A police sergeant remarked: “Residents, drivers and our traffic officers have had enough with these crowds of drivers thoughtlessly occupying public roads and car parks and we refuse to accept it.”
The officer continued: “They are not only a total disturbance, but they also place themselves and innocent bystanders at risk of serious injury.”
The statement concluded: “We will continue to take legal action against these drivers and I trust these latest incidents act as a warning: you will face consequences.”
