Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer died after his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's family, those closest to him, and all those touched by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
